Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Vehicle accidents:

A 1990 Ford station wagon driven by a man, 55 was involved in an accident with a 1988 Ford truck driven by a man, 51, at 7:28 a.m. Monday on Egan Drive and 12th Street. Damage to both vehicles was about $500. No injuries were reported.


A man, 21, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 2:58 p.m. on Egan Drive near Twin Lakes. He was released, and the vehicle was released to a licensed driver.

A man, 30, was arrested for driving with a revoked license at 12:35 a.m. today on 10th Street and F Street downtown. He was transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center; the vehicle was impounded.

Animal encounters:

The caretaker at the Mendenhall Glacier received several reports of bears in the area of the trail across from the tour bus parking lot at about 6:30 p.m. Monday.
