Driving while intoxicated:
David Vollenweider, 54, was arrested for drunken driving and charged with refusing to submit a breath sample at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday near Willoughby Avenue and Egan Drive. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
A man, 23, was arrested for domestic violence assault at 4:48 a.m. Wednesday near Third Street. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
A black backpack, prescription pills, and a black wallet containing cash were reported stolen from an unlocked Pontiac at 12:19 p.m. Monday near West Willoughby Avenue.
At 5:09 p.m. Tuesday near Glacier Highway and Lee Smith Drive, a woman, 47, was cited for failure to maintain a safe distance after driving her 1993 Eagle Summit into the rear of a 1993 Dodge Caravan. The Summit sustained $3,500 in damage, while the Caravan sustained $1,000.
At 11:49 p.m. Tuesday near Glacier Highway, a woman, 29, reported her 2001 Chevrolet rental car was backed into while parked. A damage estimate was not available.
At 7:33 a.m. Wednesday near Julep Street, a boy, 16, drove his 1996 Ford into a 2003 Honda driven by a woman, 18.
At 10:28 a.m. Wednesday near Glacier Avenue, police responded to a report of a vehicle lodged between trees. A 1987 Volkswagen was found unattended. It was impounded.
Bears were reported Tuesday at 10:23 p.m. near Capital View Court and at 10:26 p.m. near Diane Road; and Wednesday at 12:07 a.m. near Thunder Mountain Road.
