Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Jason Glenn, 33, on a charge of drunken driving at 6:04 p.m. Wednesday near Trout Street in the Valley. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.


• At 1:04 p.m. Wednesday, a Uniden Bearcat scanner was reported stolen around June 11 near Nowell Avenue in Douglas. It is worth $160.

• A blue and black Dana Designs backpack was reported stolen at 8:59 p.m. Wednesday near Marine Way. It is worth $170.

• A black cloth wallet was reported stolen at 9:11 p.m. Wednesday from an unlocked car, somewhere in Juneau.


• Five signs and a bag dispenser were reported spray-painted white at 2:07 p.m. Wednesday on a trail near River Road.

Vehicle accident:

• Minor damage was reported from an accident at 3:08 p.m. Wednesday near Marine Way. The accident involved a 1987 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a man, 75, and a 1992 Toyota Camry, driven by a man, 24.

Underage drinking:

• Police cited a man, 20, who was visiting Juneau, on a charge of underage drinking at 8:07 p.m. Wednesday near Third Street.

Lost property:

• At 1:38 p.m. Wednesday, a man reported losing a Minolta digital camera somewhere in Juneau. It is worth $450.

Animal encounters:

• A bear was observed at 12:23 a.m. Thursday at an A Street residence in Douglas.
