Try riding a bike to work; avoid traffic

If you live on Douglas and work downtown or somewhere close, you have no reason to complain about how bad traffic is or how bad it will be with the new roundabout. You make the choice to drive. Ride your bike, walk or carpool to work instead. Riding your bike or walking is environmentally friendly. It's great for your body. You save money on gas, and you don't have to sit in traffic.

I ride my bike to work every day and blow past people sitting in traffic and wonder why people seem to think that driving is the only mode of transportation. I know there are people who are in no condition to be able to ride bikes or walk to work. But for those who can, we live in a beautiful setting. Riding my bike to work and looking at the mountains and water instead of the back of someone's car is a great way to start my day. It should be a great way to start yours too. Think about it.
