Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Patrick Venner, 19, on a charge of drunken driving at 12:59 a.m. Saturday on outbound Egan Drive at Salmon Creek. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.

• Police arrested Allen Tobiska, 45, on a charge of drunken driving at 2:04 a.m. Saturday on Glacier Highway at Anka Street in the Lemon Creek area. They lodged him at the state prison and impounded the vehicle he was driving. Police also charged him with sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and driving without a license.

Domestic dispute:

• Police arrested a man, 20, on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 10:01 a.m. Saturday in the Mendenhall Valley. He was also served with a warrant out of Ketchikan charging him with failing to respond to a citation for underage drinking.

Assault:

• Police arrested a man, 35, on an assault charge at 4:33 p.m. Thursday at Front and Franklin streets downtown. They lodged him at the state prison.

• Police arrested a woman, 50, on charges of assault and criminal damage at 7:51 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of West Ninth Street downtown. They lodged her at the state prison.

Theft:

• A cellular telephone and $350 were reported stolen at 5:99 a.m. Friday in the 400 block of Third Street downtown.

• A man, 70, from Louisiana reported theft of a $5,400 Rolex watch at 11:15 a.m. Friday in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive.

Vandalism:

• At 11:27 a.m. Friday, a 1991 Honda Civic was reported scratched with a key in the 3000 block of Nowell Court in the Douglas area.

Vehicle accident:

• Police cited a man, 66, on a charged of failure to avoid an accident reported at 2:34 p.m. Friday on inbound Egan Drive at Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area. He was driving a 1988 Dodge truck that reportedly struck a 1992 Honda Civic driven by a woman, 19. Damage was estimated at $3,000 to the truck while the Honda was reportedly totaled.

Traffic stop:

• Police impounded a vehicle at 10:05 a.m. Saturday on Egan Drive at Norway Point after citing the driver, a man, 26, on a charge of driving without a license.

• Police impounded a vehicle at 5:11 p.m. Friday on Douglas Highway at Creek Street after citing the driver, a man, 22, on a charge of driving without a license.

Underage drinking:

• Police cited a woman, 19, on a charge of underage drinking at 2:55 a.m. Saturday near Dudley Street in the Valley.

Animal encounters:

• A bear was seen getting into garbage at 10:13 p.m. Thursday in the 8400 block of Thunder Mountain Road in the Valley. A small black bear also was reported at 7:43 a.m. Friday wandering around the area of Dogwood Lane in the Valley.
