Animal complaint:
At 7:38 p.m. Sunday, a bear was reported in the 400 block of Franklin Street.
Domestic violence:
At 12:02 p.m. Sunday, a 27-year-old man was arrested on charges of domestic violence assault. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was involved.
Drunken driving:
At 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Steven Carleson, 38, of Sitka, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated after an accident in the 11600 block of Glacier Highway. His vehicle struck a 2002 Ford driven by a 42-year-old woman, police said. He was lodged at the state prison.
Minor consuming:
At 8:19 a.m. Monday, a 19-year-old man was cited on a charge of minor consuming in the 4200 block of Taku Boulevard.
Theft:
At 12:34 p.m. Sunday, a woman reported the theft of a black-and-silver Blackberry Pearl cell phone in the Juneau area.
At 8:08 p.m. Sunday, a carved green jade sculpture worth $1,000 was reported stolen in the 300 block of Franklin Street.
At 9:43 p.m. Sunday, a green-and-silver 21-speed Kilds bicycle and a blue Flip Freestyle 400 bike were reported stolen in the 300 block of Jackson Way.
At 10:23 p.m. Sunday, a purse with a Sony digital camera and blue iPod was reported stolen on Sandy Beach.
Traffic accident:
At 11:41 a.m. Monday, a 2005 Dodge was struck while parked in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road, causing $1,200 in damage.
