Sitka Summer Music Festival musicians to perform in Juneau

SITKA - As the 2003 Sitka Summer Music Festival summer series ends its 32nd season, violinist Paul Rosenthal, joined by colleagues Eugene Osadchy, Rainer Moog and Philippe Djokic, will come to Juneau for one final concert, 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 28.

Aboard an Allen Marine Tours passenger vessel, the evening includes a whale-watching excursion and an ongoing presentation of Beethoven string quartets. Two "middle" quartets will be featured in Saturday's program: String Quartet in F Minor, Opus 95, Serioso, and String Quartet in E Flat Major, Opus 74, Harp.

Tickets for the Juneau concert are available at Hearthside Books. The cruise leaves at 6 p.m. from Don Statter Public Boat Harbor. The cost is $60 and seating is limited to 60 passengers. For more information, call (907) 747-6774.
