Gays want lifestyle-based rights

Letter to the editor

Posted: Sunday, June 27, 2004

In reference to Kurt Cox's letter, "Gay Marriage not a civil right," I say good for you, Kurt, for standing up for what you believe in and not being afraid to voice your opinion. I am in full agreement with your letters. In my opinion it seems as if the newspaper is advocating gay marriages by their articles. So much for it being a family newspaper.

Interesting that homosexual acts used to be illegal. Gays want their rights, so to speak, based upon their gay lifestyles, which has nothing to do with race, creed or color but based upon their sexual preference. Now isn't that interesting?
