Southeast Road Runners - Only Fools Run at Midnight: Meet at 11:30 p.m. at Centennial Hall for an 11:59 p.m. race start. Courses are 5 kilometers and 1 mile. This race will not be individually timed, but a large display clock will be at the finish line for those runners wanting to note their times. This event is a fund-raiser for SAIL (Southeast Alaska Independent Living), and other similar midnight runs are taking place in Ketchikan and Sitka. Door prizes include a chance to win two tickets on Alaska Airlines, plus there are prizes for the best individual and (team) centipede costumes. Glow-in-the-dark t-shirts will be available to runners paying the entry fee. A dance will take place after the run is over. Senior Softball - An exhibition game between Senior Softball USA and the First National Caps takes place at noon and an exhibition game between Senior Softball USA and Pat's Douglas Inn takes place at 1:30 p.m., with both games at the Savikko Park softball fields in Douglas.

Juneau Freewheelers bicycle club - Nick Frangos Memorial Race: Meet at 9:30 a.m. on the Douglas Island side of the Douglas Bridge for a 10 a.m. race start. Course is 24 miles to False Outer Point and back for the race division, with a sport division course of 14.5 miles. Both events start and finish near Kowee Creek. Juneau Rifle and Pistol Club - Meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Hank Harmon Rifle Range on Montana Creek Road for a 9:15 a.m. safety meeting and 9:30 a.m. event start. The event today is the Alaska State High-Power Prone Championships, a 300-yard, three-rifle event. Shooters will fire 20 shots each from an open/metal-sight rifle, a scoped rifle and a service rifle. Juneau Rowing Club - Second Annual Regatta: This year's regatta features preliminary heats on Sunday with championship races on Monday in men's and women's divisions. Meet at the Juneau Yacht Club parking lot near Aurora Harbor for races that start at 3 p.m. No entry fee will be charged, but all competitors must be a member of the Juneau Rowing Club ($20 annual membership dues). Racing shells will be available for those competitors who don't own their own sculls. On Sunday, there will be two women's preliminary heats at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. with the top three finishers in each heat advancing to Monday's 3 p.m. women's final. The men's preliminary heats take place at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday, with the top three finishers in each heat racing in Monday's 4 p.m. men's final. Awards will be presented at 4:45 p.m. Monday. Due to the influence of tides and winds, the finish order in each preliminary heat will be used to determine who advances to the finals and not a racer's time. The course will start near the green navigation marker across from the 2-mile exit on Egan Drive and will finish at a marker near the top of the ramp on the north side of the Juneau Yacht Club. Ultimate Players of Southeast Alaska - UPSEA will host a 4-week-long Ultimate Frisbee learning league for beginners and non-competitive athletes interested in the Frisbee football game. The league will meet at a time TBA on Tuesday nights during June, with skills drills to open each session followed by a scrimmage. The cost is $25 per person. Zach Gordon Youth Center climbing wall - New climbing wall hours are 5-7 p.m. on Mondays, and 3:30-7 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The climbing wall can be used by people of all ages. Climbers age 20-younger climb free, while adults 21-older pay $5 to use the wall. Youth-adult interaction is encouraged, so an adult climbing with a youth pays no fee.
