Animal complaint:

• At 12:28 p.m. Tuesday, a bear was reported on Mendenhall Loop Road.

Drunken driving:

• At 12:43 a.m. Wednesday, Robert Allen, 21, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He was taken into custody and his vehicle was impounded.

Traffic accidents:

• At 2:19 p.m. Tuesday, a 2001 red Ford truck driven by a 20-year-old man, was struck by a gray Honda, causing minor damage.

• At 10:18 p.m. Tuesday, the 27-year-old driver of a 1999 Nissan pickup backed into a parked 2005 Honda motorcycle, which sustained $5,000 in damage.


• At 4:07 p.m. Tuesday, a 31-year-old woman was arrested on shoplifting charges in the 8100 Block of Glacier Highway. She was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 9:14 p.m. Tuesday, a 30-year-old woman was cited and released for shoplifting in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.


• At 6:27 p.m. Tuesday, a black and green nylon sign valued at $100 was reported stolen at a scenic viewpoint.

• At 5:38 p.m. Tuesday, a radio valued at $350 and a black Garmin model 162 GPS unit worth $1,100 was stolen from a boat in the 9900 block of Crazy Horse Drive.

Domestic violence:

• At 10:28 p.m. Tuesday, a 45-year-old woman was arrested on a charge of assault and taken into custody.
