Lynette Anderson and Mitch Falk, both of Juneau, will marry on July 3, 2009, in a private ceremony at the Mendenhall Glacier.

The wedding will be followed by a reception at 6 p.m. at DIPAC Salmon Hatchery. The couple asks friends and family join them in celebration and please RSVP at 790-4789.

The couple own the Hot Bite and Bullwinkles Pizza. The bride also works at Alaska Airlines Cargo. They have been together for 10 years but recently decided to tie the knot while the groom was on a safari in Africa. His satellite phone call from Zambia, while sitting on a riverbank amongst hippos and crocodiles, ended in a proposal he didn't refuse.

The maid of honor is Lauren Rosano, of Lummi Island, Wash., and the best man is Russ Senkovich, of Tee Harbor.
