Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Lauren Smith, 45, was arrested at 3:15 p.m. Thursday near Glacier Highway for drunken driving on Egan Drive and taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Priscilla Jordon, 31, was arrested at 1:20 a.m. today on Glacier Highway for drunken driving and refusal to submit to a breath test. She was lodged at state prison.


A man, 35, was arrested at 8:20 p.m. Thursday in West Juneau for domestic violence assault. He was taken to state prison.


Police received a report at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from Tongass Boulevard of a leather CD wallet stolen from a vehicle.

A woman, 21, was placed under citizen's arrest for shoplifting near Glacier Highway at 2:40 p.m. Thursday. She was released.

Vehicle accidents:

A woman, 79, was cited for failure to yield after a stop, after an accident at 4:23 p.m. Thursday near Anka Street. The woman, driving a 1983 Mercedes, struck a 1996 Saturn driven by a 32-year-old woman.

Animal encounters:

Police issued a citation for littering at 10:15 a.m. Thursday near Thunder Mountain Road after a bear got into a Dumpster. A bear was reported at 5:20 a.m. today on Crow Hill Road.


A man, 23, was arrested at 3:15 p.m. Thursday near Basin Road for driving with a suspended license. He was lodged at state prison.

Fish and wildlife troopers cited a Juneau man, 43, on Thursday for making a false statement on a sport fish license.
