Juneau resident Wendi Hanson died unexpectedly on June 25, 2008, in Juneau. She was 41.
She was born Nov. 4, 1966, in Petersburg, and when she was about 20 years old, she moved to Ketchikan, where she lived for 14 years. Then she lived in Juneau with her family for eight years.
She worked for Cornerstone for about three years and also worked as a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Krista Bloodsworth and her husband, Mack, Keith Hanson and Larissa Hanson; grandchildren, Timothy Williams, and Douglas and Ally Bloodsworth; father, Herb Hanson Sr.; brothers, Herb Hanson Jr. and his daughter, Guylynn Etcher, William Hanson and his children, Michael Olsen, Sophia Hanson and Daniel Hanson; sister, Lucille Hessel and her husband, John; nieces and nephews, Michael and Corey Lyon, Joshua and Faith Hunt and Faith's daughter, Elizabeth, and Richard Hunt and Richard's son, Riley.
Services will be held Tuesday, July 1, at St. Paul's Apostle Catholic Church. The viewing will be 1-2 p.m., funeral services will be 2-3 p.m. and the reception will be 3-4 p.m.
