ANCHORAGE - An Anchorage man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison on a methamphetamine drug charge.

Thirty-one-year-old Tupou Satini Jr. was sentenced Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Anchorage. The U.S. Attorney's Office for Alaska says Satini was arrested after trying to take possession of a FedEx package containing the drugs. The drugs were hidden in a pink Barbie Tough Trike box.

Prosecutors say Satini's co-conspirator, Amy Renee Itta, had the drugs shipped to an unsuspecting individual who became suspicious and reported the package to law enforcement.

Satini was arrested in the company of Itta and his sister, Nanasi Satini.

Itta and Nanasi Satini were sentenced to more than three years in prison each.
