JDHS class of 1995 to hold 10-year reunion

The Juneau-Douglas High School class of 1995 will hold its 10-year reunion this weekend.

A family picnic will be held from noon to 2 p.m., Saturday at Auke Village Recreation Area, with the reunion taking place from 7 to 11:45 p.m., Sunday at the Juneau Elks Lodge ballroom.

The classmates will also gather to watch the Juneau Fourth of July parade at the Seadrome Building's grassy knoll, across from the Goldbelt Hotel.

Faith Lutheran services to focus on prayer

The Revs. Art Puls and Tom Bunnett will serve Faith Lutheran Church during July and August, respectively, while Dan and Carol Doran are on vacation.

Sunday services begin at 10 a.m., and the sermons will focus on prayer and the Lord's Prayer.

Puls' sermon topics will be: "Our Father, Who Art in Heaven," July 3; "Hallowed Be Thy Name," July 10; "Thy Kingdom Come," July 17; and "Thy Will Be Done," July 24.
