Cheri Michelle Walters of Nome and Alec Randolph Goenner of Pensacola, Fla., will be married Aug. 21, 2005, on a yacht in Destin, Fla.
She is the daughter of Louie and Leona Schick. She graduated from Nome-Beltz High School and is attending University of Alaska Southeast. She is an intern for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
He is the son of Christopher and Dale Goenner. He attended Pensacola Junior College. He is an electronics technician second class for the United States Coast Guard.
The maid of honor is Melanie Walters. The matron of honor is Maia Cammack. Bridesmaids are Thomasina Scott, Krystin Goenner and Mercedes Goenner. The best men are Robby Terhune and Eddie Hinote. Groomsmen are Shawn Brann, Joshua Goenner, Klaudio Idelbong and Jeremy Terhune. The flower girl is Daphany Iya.
The couple will honeymoon in Key Largo, Fla., and make their home in Juneau until transferred in the summer of 2006.
