Animal complaint:

• At 12:13 p.m. Thursday, a bear was reported on Valley Boulevard.

• At 7:06 a.m. Friday, a bear was reported in the 400 block of Park Street.

Assault:

• At 11:54 p.m. Friday, George McQuaid, 68, was arrested on a charge of felony assault on Front Street. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was involved.

Disorderly conduct:

• At 11:23 p.m. Thursday, a 19-year-old man and 20-year-old man were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and cited on charges of minor consuming on Distin Avenue. They were lodged at the state prison.

Driving while intoxicated:

• At 12:53 a.m. Friday, Scott Dybdahl, 24, was cited and released on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving without a license on Mendenhall Loop Road. The vehicle was impounded.

• At 1:53 a.m. Friday, Daniel Peters, 44, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to stop at the direction of a peace officer on Glacier Highway. The vehicle was impounded, and he was lodged at the state prison.

• At 2:45 a.m. Saturday, Vernon Bontrager, 25, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 11400 block of Glacier Highway. He was lodged at the state prison, and his vehicle was impounded.

Hit-and-run:

• At 1:45 p.m. Thursday, a parked 2005 Toyota was struck in the Juneau area.

• At 10:05 a.m. Friday, a parked 1999 Chevrolet was struck in the Juneau area.

• At 4:25 p.m. Friday, police received a report that a parked 2002 Mercury was struck in the 300 block of 10th Street in February or March.

Lost property:

• At 8:44 a.m. Saturday, a black Panasonic digital pocket camera in a black canvas case was reported lost downtown.

Minor consuming:

• At 8:03 p.m. Thursday, a 20-year-old man was cited and released on a charge of minor consuming at Sandy Beach.

• At 10:27 p.m. Thursday, an 18-year-old man was cited on a charge of minor consuming on Ninth Street.

Theft:

• At 1:27 p.m. Thursday, a 23-year-old man was cited and released on a charge of larceny on Vintage Boulevard.

• At 4:10 p.m. Thursday, a 73-year-old man was cited and released on a charge of larceny in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.

• At 4:43 p.m. Thursday, a 31-year-old man reported the theft of medication in the Juneau area.

• At 11:50 p.m. Thursday, a red seven-speed Mega bicycle was reported stolen in the 8400 block of Valley Boulevard.

• At 7:07 a.m. Friday, the burglary of a safe with $150 in cash was reported in the 3600 block of Douglas Highway.

• At 11:41 a.m. Friday, a Specialized mountain bike was reported stolen at the Douglas Bridge.

• At 1:38 p.m. Friday, a 26-year-old man was arrested on a charge of larceny on Vintage Boulevard. He was lodged at the state prison.

• At 10:21 p.m. Friday, a purse was reported stolen from a red 1989 Toyota that was vandalized on Nowell Avenue.

Vandalism:

• At 7:17 a.m. Friday, the passenger side window of a Subaru was broken and a wallet inside was stolen in the 1600 block of Glacier Avenue.

• At 8:57 a.m. Saturday, a boat was reported spray-painted in the 8600 block of Evergreen Park Road.
