Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Bears were reported Monday at 11:02 p.m. near Rainbow Row, 12:26 p.m. near Irwin Street and 12:48 p.m. near Churchill Way; and Tuesday at 12:32 a.m. near Mendenhall Loop Road, 12:37 a.m. near Threadneedle Street, 5:46 a.m. near Rainbow Row and 6:04 a.m. near Delta Drive.
At 1:28 p.m. Monday, a boy, 16, backed a 1982 Honda into a 1996 Dodge near Northwood Drive and Lemon Creek. No injuries were reported and both vehicles sustained minor damage.
At 1:40 p.m. Monday near Third and Main Streets, a man, 62, drove his van into a 1991 Mercury due to vehicle malfunctions. No injuries were reported and both vehicles sustained minor damages.
At 10:16 a.m. Tuesday, a female, 31, reported her 1995 Nissan was struck by a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee near Ferry Way.
At 11 a.m. Tuesday near Glacier Highway, a gray Sony cell phone was reported stolen. The phone is valued at $130.
At 12:19 p.m. Monday, a man, 42, reported someone broke the door off his mailbox near Taku Boulevard.
Driving while intoxicated:
Michael Edward Sweeney, 63, was arrested for drunken driving at 11:09 p.m. Monday near Berners Avenue. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center and the car was impounded.
At 7:17 p.m. Monday near Mendenhall Loop Road, Juneau resident Oren Chase Lanz, 19, was cited and released for driving with a revoked/suspended license.
At 7:58 p.m. Monday near Glacier Highway, Juneau resident Jennifer Gwendolyn Brown, 25, was cited and released for driving without a valid driver license.
At 1:21 a.m. Tuesday near Egan Drive, Juneau resident Fred Earl George, 18, was arrested for failure to appear in court.
At 9:04 a.m. Tuesday near South Franklin Street, Juneau resident Irvin Price was arrested on 10 counts of carrying a concealed weapon, assault and criminal trespass.
