• Robert L. Holben Jr., 33, was indicted by a grand jury on charges of first-degree sexual assault and third-degree sexual assault, stemming from alleged sexual activity with a person unaware it was being committed on Feb. 22 at or near Skagway.

• Christopher W. Mills Jr., 24, was indicted by a grand jury on a felony charge of first-degree vehicle theft and a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license, stemming from a Sept. 7, 2003, incident at or near Hoonah.

• Mark C. Hughes, 27, was indicted by a grand jury on a felony charge of second-degree theft, stemming from a June 8 incident near Haines.

• Hugo Vanegas, 23, was indicted by a grand jury on a charge of second-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, stemming from an April 2 incident in which he is alleged to have possessed the prescription pain reliever oxycodone.

• Mary I. Rivera, 42, was indicted by a grand jury on a felony drunken driving charge and a felony charge alleging she refused a chemical test at her June 16 arrest.

• Harriet L. Hopson, 41, was indicted by a grand jury on a felony drunken driving charge, stemming from a June 18 traffic stop.

• Charles A. High, 57, was indicted by a grand jury on a felony charge of second-degree escape and a misdemeanor count of unlawful evasion, stemming from an allegation that he removed himself from official detention on May 13.


• Kerin M. Moore, 33, was found guilty of felony driving under the influence of alcohol, stemming from a Feb. 2 incident. Juneau Superior Court Judge Patricia Collins imposed 24 months in jail with nine months suspended and a $10,000 fine with $5,000 suspended. She also permanently revoked Moore's driver's license and placed her on probation for five years. Charges of reckless endangerment and driving with a license suspended, canceled or revoked were dismissed. Moore's blood-alcohol level was unavailable.

• Douglas R. Chilton, 21, was found guilty of misdemeanor assault, stemming from a May 1 incident, and two counts of violating his probation. Juneau District Judge Peter B. Froehlich imposed 120 days in jail with 100 days suspended, a $2,000 fine and three years of probation on the assault charge. For one probation violation, Froehlich imposed 55 days in jail with 45 days suspended and a $750 fine, all suspended. For the other violation, he imposed 40 days in jail with 25 days suspended and a suspended $1,500 fine. As a requirement of Chilton's probation, Froehlich required him to attend adult education classes at least three times a week and get his high school equivalency certificate by June 1, 2005.

• Aaron L. Konrad, 22, was found guilty of operating a vehicle, air or watercraft while intoxicated, stemming from an incident where his blood-alcohol level was measured at .168 percent. Froehlich imposed 46 days in jail with 40 days suspended and a $3,000 fine with $1,500 suspended. He also revoked Konrad's driver's license for 90 days and placed him on probation for one year.
