Facility closures:

Augustus Brown Pool: Closed Sunday.

City Hall and most CBJ offices: Closed Saturday through Monday. Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday.

Capital Transit & Care-A-Van: Buses and vans will not be operating on Sunday. Full service will resume on Monday.

CBJ Docks and Harbors: All facilities will be open and staffed. On Sunday, Statter Harbor office will be open from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and Aurora Harbor office will be closed. On Monday, Aurora Harbor office will be open from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and Statter Harbor office will be closed. Docks & Harbors administrative offices will be closed on Sunday and Monday. All offices will resume regular hours Tuesday.

Centennial Hall Convention Center: Open Sunday.

Juneau-Douglas City Museum: Closed Sunday.

Juneau International Airport: Open as usual. The management and badging offices will be closed on Monday, and will reopen on Tuesday.

Juneau Police Department: Open as usual. The JPD front desk and records unit will be closed from 5:30 p.m. Friday, July 2, until 7 a.m. Tuesday, July 6.

Municipal libraries: The Juneau, Valley, and Douglas Public Libraries will be closed on Sunday and Monday. Regular weekday hours resume on Tuesday. Juneau and Douglas book drops will be unavailable from 5 p.m. Saturday through 9 a.m. Monday.

Zach Gordon Youth Center: Closed Sunday and Monday.

Road closures:

JPD will begin impounding vehicles along the Juneau and Douglas parade routes beginning at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Any vehicles parked on the parade routes and in "No Parking" posted areas will be impounded at owner's expense and unavailable for pick up until Tuesday.

Downtown parade route: The Juneau parade will begin at 12 p.m. Sunday at Egan Drive and West Eighth Street. It will travel inbound on Egan Drive via the outbound lanes to Main Street. It will turn left and travel up Main Street then turn right onto Front Street and continue on Front Street traveling against the normal flow of traffic. It will turn right onto Franklin Street and travel against the normal flow of traffic to the traffic circle. The parade will then head outbound on Egan Dr. via the inbound lanes to West Eighth.

Main Street downtown: Main Street will be paved and open following the parade. The Downtown Transportation Center (parking garage project) is still under construction and is not open to the public. Stay off new landscaping soils.

Douglas parade route: The Douglas parade will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday on Third Street at Gastineau Elementary School and St. Ann's Avenue at A Street. From 2-6 p.m., traffic will be one way only on Fourth Street southbound and on Second Street northbound. Both Second and Third Streets will be posted as "No Parking."

Douglas Soapbox Derby: From 2 p.m. Saturday until 6 p.m. Sunday St. Ann's Avenue from Summers Street to Third Street will be closed to traffic. Any vehicle parked on St. Ann's Avenue from Summers Street to Third Street during this closure will be cited and impounded at the owner's expense. The Douglas Boat Harbor parking lot will be available for parking.
