State buys land at Ward Cove

KETCHIKAN - The Alaska Department of Transportation has purchased 30 acres of property at Ward Cove in Ketchikan for use by the Alaska Marine Highway System.
Commissioner Leo von Scheben says the land will provide space for future growth and will be used to consolidate the ferry system's warehouse, headquarters and other space.
