Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Thefts:
Police received a report at 12:30 a.m. today of a flag stolen from the outside of a building on North Franklin Street.
Vehicle accidents:
A woman, 19, was cited at 10 a.m. Tuesday near Alaway Avenue for driving without a license. She drove her Chevy Camaro into a ditch, causing $500 damage.
Hit-and-run incidents:
A woman reported at 7 p.m. Tuesday that her 1993 Chevy van was struck by an unknown vehicle.
Other:
A blue 16-speed bike was turned into the police at 5 p.m. Tuesday from Twin Lakes.
A man, 42, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday near South Franklin Street on an outstanding Juneau police warrant for failing to pay a fine. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Crime Line
Juneau Crime Line Inc. is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or people responsible for several incidents of vandalism near Willoughby Avenue. Rocks were thrown through a windshield of one vehicle, and its ceiling was torn up, causing $1,600 in damage. Two other vehicles' windshields were broken.
