Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• At 10:41 p.m. Tuesday, Alexandra Gembala, 32, was arrested near Douglas Highway for driving while intoxicated. She was held at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Domestic violence:

• At 8:48 a.m. Wednesday, a woman, 40, was arrested for domestic violence assault near Glacierwood Court. She was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 9:28 a.m. Wednesday, a man, 32, was arrested for domestic violence assault near Glacier Highway. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Animal sightings:

• Bears were reported Tuesday at 2:07 p.m. on Glacier Highway between downtown and Salmon Creek, 5:12 p.m. near Rainbow Row; and at 1:32 a.m. Wednesday near Engineers Cutoff Road,

Vehicle accidents:

• At 7:32 p.m. Tuesday, a man, 61, driving a 1995 Dodge truck was cited for failure to stop at a red light near Riverside Drive and Mall Road after colliding with a 1991 Isuzu driven by a man, 52.


• At 12:28 a.m. Tuesday, a stroller was reported stolen near Douglas Highway and later recovered damaged.

• At 12:51 a.m. Tuesday, a Sony cell phone was reported stolen from a parked vehicle near Amalga Harbor. The phone is worth $120.

• At 3:48 a.m. Tuesday, ground line, culvert and electric range were reported stolen near North Douglas Highway.

• At 8:38 p.m. Tuesday, a black bicycle was reported stolen near West 12th Street. The bike is valued at $433.

• At 10:02 p.m. Tuesday, a leather jacket was reported stolen near Front Street. The jacket is valued at $250.

• At 10:46 a.m. Wednesday, a woman, 26, was cited for larceny near West Willoughby Avenue and released.

• At 11:56 a.m. Wednesday, a blue Schwinn bicycle was reported stolen near Trafalgar Avenue.


• At 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, a man, 36, reported an outhouse and a dog waste bag dispenser were vandalized near False Outer Point. The items were valued at approximately $580.

• At 10:21 a.m. Wednesday, a man, 25, reported the rear passenger side window of his Chevy Malibu was broken. The damage was estimated at $371.

Found property:

• At 9:03 p.m. Tuesday, a woman, 29, found a tan Huffy bicycle near Creek Street in Douglas.
