Animal complaint:
At 6:34 a.m. Monday, a bear was reported in the 200 block of Main Street.
At 8:39 a.m. Monday, a bear was reported on Fifth Street.
Driving while intoxicated:
At 1:03 a.m. Monday, Dustin Gearin, 30, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated on Mendenhall Loop Road. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center, and his vehicle was impounded.
Found property:
At 1:22 p.m. Sunday, two toolboxes were recovered in the 3300 block of Douglas Highway and placed into safekeeping, pending contact with the owner.
Hit-and-run:
At 8:37 a.m. Monday, a 2006 Toyota was struck on Marine Way, causing $1,000 in damage.
At 9:22 a.m. Monday, a parked 2001 Ford was struck in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue, causing $1,000 in damage.
Lost property:
At 7:23 a.m. Monday, police received a report of a lost gold, ruby and diamond ring in the Juneau area.
Minor consuming:
At 3:35 a.m. Monday, a 20-year-old man was cited on a charge of minor consuming on Valley Boulevard.
Theft:
At 1:18 p.m. Sunday, a 16-year-old boy was arrested on a charge of theft in the 5100 block of Glacier Highway. He was transported to the Johnson Youth Center.
At 2:12 p.m. Sunday, a 50-year-old woman was cited and released on a charge of shoplifting in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.
At 4:39 p.m. Sunday, police received a report that a girl's pink and purple Huffy Stone mountain bicycle was stolen in the 8700 block of Haloff Way.
At 10:22 a.m. Monday, a satellite radio was reported stolen from a 1995 Ford F-250 in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.
At 11:50 a.m. Monday, a black Canon digital XTI camera was reported stolen in the 3300 block of Park Place.
Traffic incident:
At 3:14 a.m. Monday, Patryck Willis, 18, was arrested on charges of felony failure to stop, driving without a license, reckless driving and speeding on Tongass Boulevard. A 19-year-old man was arrested on misdemeanor charges of minor consuming, allowing an unlicensed person to drive and misconduct involving a controlled substance. Both were lodged at the state prison.
Vandalism:
At 12:02 p.m. Sunday, a screen window was reported damaged in the 400 block of Eighth Street.
At 7:01 a.m. Monday, a window was reported broken on a Toyota on Glacier Highway.
