JUNEAU - A judge Thursday scheduled two days in October for the trial of accused armed robber Erick Waters.
Police arrested Waters during an investigation immediately following a 3 a.m. robbery in the Mendenhall Valley. Police said they caught Waters with his driver's seat stuffed with the exact amount of money stolen earlier at knifepoint.
Recently, KINY Radio reported a Juneau police department leak that Waters, 18, was the son of accused thief and large-scale drug dealer Vonnie Williams.
"The apple doesn't fall far from the tree," the officer told KINY.
Superior Court Judge Patricia Collins set the trial for Oct. 13.
Bail was not discussed.
