A 40-year-old man was flown to Seattle for medical treatment Thursday after police responded to a fight in the 4400 block of Kanat'a Street.
Juneau Police officers responded to a disturbance around 6:30 a.m. involving three teenagers when they discovered the man lying on the living room floor. The man's name was not released.
Capital City Fire and Rescue transported the man to Bartlett Regional Hospital, where it was determined he had a serious head injury. He was then airlifted to Seattle's Harborview Medical Center. It is unknown how the man was injured.
At the residence, a 16-year-old boy who had been drinking was arrested on two misdemeanor charges of domestic violence assault and resisting arrest, according to police. He allegedly assaulted an 18-year-old woman living at the residence and her 15-year-old boyfriend.
Katherine Milton, the mother of the 16-year-old boy, was arrested at the home for interfering with police, a misdemeanor, and was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Her bail was set at $1,000. Milton was intoxicated at the scene when confronting officers, according to police.
