Anne-Marie Charbonneau Allenback of Montgomery, Al. and John Cary Allen, of Juneau were married on Sunday, May 9th, 2010 in a ceremony officiated by the bride's father, Col. Al Allenback, U.S.A.F. Ret. at the Ida B. Cason Memorial Chapel at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Ga. A Reception followed at the Virginia Hand Callaway Discovery Center. Guests were entertained during the lakeside cocktail hour by the jazz band Hi Def, featuring the bride's brother on saxophone. Dinner and dancing followed. The bride & groom were transported to and from the reception in a vintage 1963 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III.
The bride is the daughter of Al Allenback & Jeanne Charbonneau. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
The groom is the son of Bill & Vinessa Allen. He is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and Huntingdon College and is currently an ensign in the U.S. Navy, undergoing secondary aviation training.
The maid of honor was the bride's sister, Aimee Allenback Cohoon, and bridesmaids were Magan Higgins and Jessica Guillot.
The best man was the groom's Sigma Phi Epsilon brother Patrick Dean, and groomsmen were Sigma Phi Epsilon brothers Sam Schjott and Keith Jungen.
The ushers were the brothers of the bride and groom, Albert Allenback and Vincent Allen, respectively.
The ring bearer was Alec Chandler and the flower girl was Jenna Kate Chandler.
The couple honeymooned on an Egyptian cruise and will make their home in Jacksonville, Fl. while the groom continues Naval aviation training.
