Relay for Life is a fun way to join others in the Juneau community in the fight against cancer and to raise funds for cancer research, education, advocacy and patient services provided by the American Cancer Society. It is also a way to celebrate the lives being saved from cancer and to remember those lost.
Teams form and raise money prior to the event, then come prepared to camp out if they chose and enjoy the activities and celebration of life. For more information on making a donation, forming a team or participating as a survivor, call Johna Rossetti at 500-7383.
There will be themed laps and lots of entertainment to include dancers, music provided by a disc jockey, and live music provided by various local musicians. All events will be held at Dimond Park.
