ANCHORAGE - An Anchorage jury has convicted a 40-year-old man of first-degree murder in a case from 2003.
Andrew Amarok was convicted of killing his stepfather, Dennis Kane.
Kane was found dead in his home in January 2003. According to police, he was stabbed 13 times and his attacker also was injured.
Kane was a former facilities maintenance foreman at the state Department of Transportation,
Amarok's sentencing is scheduled for September.
