Body of man found in Anchorage homeless camp

ANCHORAGE - Anchorage police are investigating after the body of an Alaska Native man was found Friday morning in a downtown homeless camp.

Police found the man lying on the ground around 10 a.m.

The medical examiner's office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The man's identity will be released once next-of-kin are notified.
