Suspected drug dealer arrested in Fairbanks

FAIRBANKS - Fairbanks police arrested a suspected drug dealer after finding him asleep behind the wheel of a gray Buick.

An officer was called to a parking lot late Tuesday on a report that Kristaan Veer had been in an argument with a woman.

The officer found Veer slouched over the steering wheel with a white container in his lap. Charging documents say marijuana was in the container and a search of the car yielded other drugs and drug paraphernalia.

The documents state the 28-year-old failed field sobriety tests, and his saliva tested positive for the presence of cocaine and opiates.
