ANCHORAGE - A 33-year-old Anchorage man has been sentenced to 33 months in federal prison after his conviction for being a felon in possession of firearms.
Douglass Gordon Doggett was sentenced Wednesday by Chief U.S. District Court Judge Ralph Beistline.
Prosecutors say Doggett was a convicted felon prohibited from possessing firearms.
According to prosecutors, Doggett sold a revolver and a semiautomatic pistol to a confidential informant working for the FBI.
Prosecutors say Doggett has multiple convictions on various charges, including domestic violence, larceny and misconduct involved a controlled substance.
