Word of mouth

My goodness. It's 9:30 at night and the vintage aircraft in town are flying over the channel. Could it be local people taking a flight on the vintage aircraft? How dare they? It's noisy; we should stop them.

I want to thank Wings for changing their flight path for Fourth of July and going over the rock dump. It made the Fourth of July in Douglas even more enjoyable than it usually is.

What do your neighbors' cottonwood trees and roaming dogs and cats have in common? They deposit their unpleasantness in any yard but their own. Go figure.

Driving downtown is really scary because of the tourists. It would be helpful if they used the crosswalks.

If you think the road from Juneau to Skagway is a good idea, I suggest you take a trip to Ketchikan and take a good look at the DOT's current Third Avenue extension project. This project originally was bid for $12 million and it is highly likely to exceed that number by a factor of three. It's an example of dangerous slope stability issue and poor erosion control.

The issue of vehicle stereos is not about personal liberties. It is about sub woofer speaker systems at high volume levels. It is illegal in various areas around the country.
