SERRC, TLC, put stimulus funds to work in Juneau

JUNEAU - SERRC - Alaska's Educational Resource Center and The Learning Connection recently received workforce development stimulus funds for its summer youth employment program, a division of the agency's JobX program.

JobX Summer Program will place youth ages 16 to 24 in paid positions in a variety of work sites throughout Southeast Alaska. Along with job placement, youth will be coached in how to apply, interview and keep a job.

JobX is an equal opportunity program, funded by the Alaska Department of Labor's Division of Business Partnerships.
