Former Juneau resident Kathleen Ann Ramm died June 27, 2009, in Seattle, Wash., due to complications with diabetes. She was 62.
She was born Oct. 7, 1946, in Juneau.
She loved to be with her family and friends and the only thing that made it better was food. She loved playing Felicia Heart in the School Bus Safety play, playing piano for her tour guests in Juneau, cooking for family and friends, and fishing of any kind, especially on a boat.
Her family said she was a whirlwind of sunshine and glee, and she always lived life to the fullest.
She is survived by her sons, Scott Thomas and wife, Loretta, and Charlie Thomas; daughters, Paula and Candy Ramm; cousin, Diane Sportel; four grandchildren; partner, Alex Jackson; and numerous family and friends.
A celebration of life gathering was held in her honor on June 27.
