Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Brian Sexton, 46, on charges of drunken driving at 3:41 p.m. Monday at David Street and Douglas Highway. Officers also charged him with two counts of reckless endangerment. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.


• Police arrested a man, 35, on a charge of misdemeanor assault after an incident reported at 8:42 a.m. near Berners Avenue near the airport. Officers located the man later at another location and lodged him at the state prison.

Disturbing the peace:

• Police cited a man, 30, on a charge of disturbing the peace at 11:32 p.m. Monday after police responded to a report of a noise complaint near Crazy Horse Drive near the airport.


• Two boxes containing miscellaneous tools were reported stolen at 8:46 a.m. Tuesday. The theft reportedly occurred in June in the 500 block of West 11th Street downtown, from a 1989 Buick that had its rear window broken out. The tools were valued at $1,000. Damage was listed at $289.


• At 6:22 a.m. Tuesday, an egg mixture was reported smeared on a vehicle near Maier Drive near the airport.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a woman, 28, on a charge of failing to exercise due care to avoid an accident at 5:18 p.m. Monday on Douglas Highway at David Street. The woman reportedly was driving a 2002 Ford Focus that struck a 1994 Pontiac Grand Am, driven by a woman, 22, which in turn struck a 1995 Ford, driven by a man, 59. Damage estimates were not available.

Animal encounters:

• A bear and cub were reported at 12:42 a.m. Tuesday near Tournure Street in the Mendenhall Valley.

Calls related to domestic violence: 0.
