ANCHORAGE - Denali National Park and Preserve was covered in haze Sunday from wildfires in Alaska's Interior.
Park spokeswoman Kris Fister said winds moved smoke into the park, including its busy visitors area at the entrance.
Fister said there are several wildfires burning in the region, including one inside the 6-million-acre park, with increased fire activity because of warm, dry weather.
She said Sunday that no park structures were threatened.
State environmental regulators issued an advisory for the area, warning that some areas closest to the blazes could experience times of unhealthy air quality.
