Thefts, lost/found items:
At 11 a.m. Thursday, a woman, 32, reported the theft of her cream-colored pearl necklace from a Stephen Richards Memorial Drive home.
About 12:30 p.m. Thursday, a man, 24, was arrested in Lemon Creek for theft of services regarding a cab fare. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
About 2 p.m. Thursday, a man, 35, reported his Avon Rover series 2.81 inflatable gray shore skiff with a yellow stripe was stolen from Shaune Drive. The skiff contained oars, a pump and floorboards. The skiff was stolen about a month ago.
About 5 p.m. Thursday, a woman, 55, reported the theft of three rings from her Thunder Mountain Road residence between mid-June and now. She had neither leads nor suspects.
Vehicle accidents:
Police responded about 5:15 p.m. Thursday to a three-vehicle accident at the Douglas Bridge. A 1996 green Jeep sustained $1,500 damage. A 1984 white Volkswagen Jetta was totaled. A 1990 Chevy pickup had no damage. No one was injured or cited.
Police responded about 7:30 p.m. Thursday to a report of a motorcycle accident on Glacier Highway outbound. A man, 28, said he had lost control of his cycle when he was surprised by the stop sign at Lena Loop Road. The bike suffered $300 damage; the driver suffered minor injuries.
Trespassing:
About 8:30 a.m. Thursday, a woman, 34, was placed under citizen's arrest at the State Office Building for trespassing. She was lodged at state prison.
About 10 p.m. Thursday, a man, 20, was placed under citizen's arrest in Gruening Park for trespassing. He was cited and later released from the Juneau police station.
Animal encounters:
About 9 a.m. Thursday, a bear was reported getting into garbage at Switzer Village trailer court.
Shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday, a black bear was reported on Calhoun Avenue trying to get into garbage.
About 10 p.m. Thursday, a bear was reported in the area of Hayes Way.
About 10 p.m. Thursday, a bear was reported heading to the large trash container of a condominium complex in the Mendenhall Valley.
About 10 p.m. Thursday, a bear was reported in the area of Dixon Street. The bear, which was not aggressive, was shooed off by a resident.
Other:
About 12:15 p.m. Thursday, a woman, 26, was contacted in the Mendenhall Valley Post Office and cited for driving with a revoked operator's license.
