Former Juneau resident Keith A. Lapiene died July 6, 2009, in Palatka, Fla. He was 44.
Born Nov. 10, 1964, in Clearwater, Fla., he was a Juneau resident for nine years, from 1976 to 1985.
A graduate of Floyd Dryden Middle School and Juneau-Douglas High School, he worked for the federal government and fished commercially. His family said he enjoyed Alaska and the fishing.
He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Lapiene; father, George Lapiene; and brother, Scott Lapiene.
