Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Animal sightings:

• Bears were reported Sunday at 12:24 p.m. near Cascade Street, at 2:37 p.m. near Rainbow Row, and Monday at 12:29 a.m. near Nugget Drive, at 10:11 a.m. near Fourth Street, at 10:54 a.m. near Dudley Street and at 11:18 a.m. near Glacier Highway and Lemon Creek.


• A woman, 39, reported the windows broken and dashboard ripped out of a GMC pickup at 7:01 a.m. Monday on Airport Boulevard.

• A woman, 32, reported two stolen buckets and a broken window at 8:04 a.m. Monday near Savikko Road.

• A man, 70, reported a portable restroom valued at about $1,800 was destroyed at 11:55 a.m. Monday near the North Douglas boat launch

Vehicle accidents:

• Police responded to a collision between a 1994 Dodge Caravan driven by a woman, 50, and a 2001 Chevrolet Astro driven by a man, 50, at 9:10 a.m. Monday near Mendenhall Loop Road. Citations are pending.


• A man, 56, was arrested at 5:07 p.m. Sunday near Glacier Spur Road for violating conditions of his release. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• A man, 39, was arrested at 10:16 p.m. Sunday near Postal Way on an outstanding warrant. He was lodged at the state prison.
