Juneau police, fire officials and state officials reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

• Victor Zomalt Powell, 32, was arrested at 9:23 p.m. Monday near First Street and charged with felony drunken driving, resisting arrest, assault on an officer and criminal mischief. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Animal sightings:

• Bears were reported Monday at 12:57 p.m. near Canyon Drive, at 2:31 p.m. near Sesame Street, at 10:05 p.m. near Slate Drive, at 10:14 p.m. near Delta Drive, and at 3:53 p.m., 10:15 p.m. and 10:43 p.m. near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

Minor consuming:

• At 3:07 p.m. Monday, a man, 19, was cited for minor consuming after police responded to a report of an altercation near Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

Theft:

• At 2:46 p.m. Monday near Glacier Highway, a man, 33, reported a stereo was stolen out of his vehicle over the weekend. Damage to his car's dashboard was estimated at $200.

• At 8:23 p.m. Monday near Linda Avenue, a woman, 40, reported a yellow dirt bike was stolen from in front of her residence.

• At 10:32 a.m. Tuesday near Marine Park, a woman, 26, reported a blue backpack-style purse was stolen from her on Friday.

Vandalism:

• At 3:33 p.m. Monday near False Outer Point, a Porta-Potty was reported vandalized.

• At 11:06 a.m. Tuesday near Marine Way, police received a report that someone tried to burn a can of gasoline on Sunday.

Other:

• A man, 40, was arrested near South Franklin Street at 2:15 p.m. Sunday for driving with a revoked license. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• A woman, 45, was arrested near Aurora Harbor at 3:56 p.m. Monday for assault. She was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• A man, 39, was arrested on a JPD no-bail warrant at 6:25 p.m. Monday near Glacier Highway.

• A man, 26, was arrested at 8:16 p.m. Monday near Salmon Creek on charges of failing to comply with alcohol screenings, misconduct involving a controlled substance, and violating conditions of parole. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• A man, 33, was arrested at 7:12 a.m. Tuesday on charges of criminal trespass and assault. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• A man, 20, was arrested at 8:11 a.m. Tuesday near Riverside Drive on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
