Karen Ann Kaplor of Kent, Wash., and Kevin Alexander Fortwengler of Kent, Wash., will be married in a ceremony at 4 p.m., July 19, at Skater's Cabin in Juneau. A reception will follow at 6 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5100 Glacier Highway.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dwane Kaplor. She is a graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and is a bus driver for First Student in Seattle.
The groom-elect is the son of Mike and Sue Fortwengler. He is a graduate of Blackford High School and is employed as a technician at Westlund Buick, GMC and Isuzu.
The matron of honor will be Kathy Buell, and the bridesmaids will be Karen Shaw and Heidi Fortwengler. Katie Kaplor, Maria Kaplor and Mikaela Fortwengler will be the flower girls.
The best man will be David Fortwengler, and the groomsmen will be Joe Keating and Mike Fortwengler. Kyle Kaplor will be the ring bearer.
The couple plan to make their home in Kent, Wash.
