"Creating a Bronze Sculpture, From Studio to Foundry to Site" will be presented by R.T. "Skip" Wallen at a whale project fundraising "bubble feed" dinner Saturday July 11 at the Moose Club.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner by Chez Alaska will be served at 6:30 p.m.
There will be a live auction of an artist's proof donated by Dr. Hank Akiyama, and a kickoff for the "Buy a Brick" campaign to memorialize names on the sea walk near the bronze humpback whale and fountain.
Tickets are on sale at www.jahc.org or at Hearthside Books.

Also this week the city will be cleaning the Windfall Fisherman sculpture by the courthouse, in a "Buff the Bear" campaign. In addition, a "Do You Have a Whale Story?" is now underway to collect people's best stories about their contact with humpback whales.
