Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Assaults:

A man, 39, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. Monday at the Princess dock for third-degree assault. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Thefts:

A woman reported Monday morning from Harbor Drive the theft of a camera from her home around June 20.

Police received a report at 11:11 a.m. Monday from Harris Street of the theft of a black and green Goretex jacket, binoculars and gloves.

Vehicle accidents:

In a collision at 4 p.m. Monday near Alsek Street a Ford pickup, driven by a woman, 52, pulled in front of a vehicle driven by a man, 42. The woman's vehicle had $2,500 damage. The man's had $3,500 damage. The police gave the woman a verbal warning.

Animal encounters:

A bear was reported at 9:45 p.m. Monday near the Timber Manor Apartments on Back Loop Road.

Other:

A man, 42, was arrested at 8:53 a.m. Monday near Marine Way for violating the conditions of his release after having contact with the victim of a domestic violence crime. He was lodged at state prison.
