Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:


• Police arrested a man, 37, on an assault charge at 12:18 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of South Franklin Street downtown. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.


• A mountain bike was reported stolen at 1:07 p.m. Thursday in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.

• A portable videotape recorder was reported stolen at 3:55 p.m. Thursday in the 9200 block of James Boulevard in the Mendenhall Valley.

• A cellular telephone was reported stolen at 6:56 p.m. Thursday, somewhere in Juneau.

• An ashtray and an antique woman's silver ring were reported stolen at 3:19 a.m. Friday from an unlocked Eagle Talon at Sandy Beach in the Douglas area.

• A silver Marin Bolinus Ridge bicycle, valued at $300, was reported stolen at 10:30 p.m. Friday near Mendenhall Mall Road.

• A woman, 44, was arrested at 12:15 a.m. Saturday near Glacier Highway on a charge of larceny. She was lodged at the state prison.

• A wallet was reported stolen at 8:15 a.m. Saturday near C Street.

• A portable CD player was reported stolen from a vehicle at 9:30 a.m. Saturday near Glacier Highway.

Vehicle accidents:

• Police cited a woman, 30, on a charge of driving without a license after a single-vehicle accident at 11:40 a.m. Friday at Glacier Highway and Anka Street in the Lemon Creek area that reportedly sent her to Bartlett Regional Hospital and totaled her 1990 Dodge Spirit. The car reportedly left the roadway and struck a water pipe.

Vehicle fires:

• Capital City Fire and Rescue reported responding to a vehicle fire at 3:50 p.m. Thursday on outbound Egan Drive in the Twin Lakes area. They found a Dodge passenger van fully involved. Seven firefighters had it out at 3:54 p.m. Traffic was rerouted onto Glacier Highway while firefighters had Egan blocked. No one was injured.
