Kit and the Kaboodles to perform July 11 and 12

Kit & the Kaboodles will perform at the July 11 Concert in the Park in Marine Park on Friday and the July 12 Concerts on Campus at the University of Alaska Southeast on Saturday. Both shows begin at 8 p.m. and are sponsored by the Juneau Arts & Humanities Council.

The band consists of vocalist and keyboardist Kit, guitarist Steve Wilde, saxophonist Doug Bridges, bassist Simon Taylor, drummer Alex Nelson and backup vocalist Kari Groven.

At the concerts, Kit will have a limited edition 10-track teaser CD for sale for $10. It includes last year's Alaska Folk Festival recording, as well as the Christmas single, "Little Drummer Girl." The concert will include original songs.
