Citizenship assistance office closed by state

JUNEAU - A lack of funding has prompted the state to close the Office of Citizenship Assistance.
The office had offered assistance with employment, training and citizenship referrals to legal immigrants.
Officials said most services offered through the office are available through other state offices and federal agencies.
