Stevens to address session Friday

JUNEAU - U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens is scheduled to address the special legislative session.
The Alaska Republican is set to address state lawmakers at 12:30 p.m. Friday in Juneau.
It will be the second time the veteran senator will address a joint session this year.
Stevens is facing a challenging re-election campaign this year, including a run by Anchorage Mayor Mark Begich, who is seeking the Democratic nomination.
