ANCHORAGE - Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell says he'll bring Gov. Sarah Palin's top advisers with him when he takes over as Alaska governor July 26.
"I promised a seamless and steady transition," Parnell said Thursday in announcing his cabinet and senior leadership team. And he added, "These folks know what they're doing. They've moved our state forward. That's why I've asked them to stay."
In addition to the cabinet members, Parnell says Palin's chief of staff, budget director and legislative liaison have all agreed to stay on in his administration.
