I believe that everyone living in Juneau loves and appreciates our clean air, water and beauty. They are scarce commodities in the world today. Here's the question: What have you done to protect them?

I wonder what Juneau would have to do to get the Anchorage newspaper to write a friendly editorial about us.

To the man who went to Eagle Beach, as soon as the tour buses start going out there they will pave the road, build pull-offs for the buses, install bathrooms and a ranger station. The only thing is, they won't let you out there anymore.

I moved to Juneau for the summer and every day I am constantly amazed by the beauty around me. Floatplanes should be the least of anyone's worries when they live in such a beautiful place.

I live in Lemon Creek and I was here all day on Saturday. The person complaining about the helicopter noise needs to get a life. The helicopters were flying way high.

As far as the ferry waiting for the ball players coming back from Whitehorse, the ferry service has done this for a number of years and the ball players really appreciate it. The games run a little longer than the ferry schedule.

I live in Douglas and I'm not too fond of the smoke and the noise. But people should check their facts before running their mouths. It's a Coast Guard regulation that ships blow their horns before leaving port.
